FCA system is to reduce or to avoid accident risk. It recognizes the distance from the vehicle ahead, the pedestrian or the cyclist through the sensors (i.e. radar and camera), and, if necessary, warns the driver of accident risk with the warning message or the warning alarms.

Take the following precautions when using the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system :
FCA is an assistant system for a driver in a certain risky driving condition and it does not take every responsibility for all risks from driving condition.
System setting The driver can activate FCA by placing the engine start/stop button to the ON position and by selecting: "User Settings Driver Assistance Forward safety" - If you select "Active assist", FCA system activates.
1. Park on a level surface and apply the parking brake firmly. 2. Move the shift lever into R (Reverse) with Manual Transmission or P (Park) with Automatic Transmission/ Dual Clutch Transmission/ Intelligent Variable Transmission. 3. Activate the hazard warning flasher.
Check your tires once a month or more. Also, check the tire pressure of the spare tire. How to check Use a good quality gauge to check tire pressure. You can not tell if your tires are properly inflated simply by looking at them. Radial tires may look properly inflated even when they're underinflated.
