Kia Soul (SK3): Light bulbs / High mounted stop lamp (LED type) bulb replacement
If the high mounted stop lamp (LED) (1), does not operate, have your vehicle checked by a professional workshop. Kia recommends to visit an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
The LED lamps cannot be replaced as a single unit because it is an integrated unit. The LED lamps has to be replaced with the unit.
A skilled technician should check or repair the high mounted stop lamp (LED), for it may damage related parts of the vehicle.

1. Open the tailgate. 2. Remove the cover. 3. Loosen the retaining bolts and remove the hose (1). 4. Pull out the module from the high mounted stop lamp assembly by pulling both clips.

If towing is necessary, we recommend you to have it done by an authorized Kia dealer or a commercial tow truck service. If towing service is not available in an emergency, your vehicle may be temporarily towed using a cable or chain secured to the emergency towing hook under the front (or rear) of the vehicle.
