Kia Soul (SK3): Door locks / Door lock/unlock features
Impact sensing door unlock system (if equipped)
All doors will automatically unlock when an impact causes the air bags to deploy.
Speed sensing door lock system (if equipped)
All doors will automatically lock after the vehicle speed exceeds 15 km/h. You can activate or deactivate the auto door lock/unlock features in the vehicle. Refer to “User settings mode” on page 4-54.
With the door lock button To unlock a door, push the door lock button (1) to the “Unlock” position. The red mark on the handle will be visible.
The child safety lock is provided to help prevent children from accidentally opening the rear doors from inside the vehicle. The rear door safety locks should be used whenever children are in the vehicle.

Checking the brake/clutch fluid level Check the fluid level in the reservoir periodically. The fluid level should be between MAX and MIN marks on the side of the reservoir. Before removing the reservoir cap and adding brake/clutch fluid, clean the area around the reservoir cap thoroughly to prevent brake/clutch fluid contamination.
