
The sunshade will be opened with the glass panel automatically when the glass panel is slid. You will have to close it manually if you want it closed.
Resetting the sunroof
Sunroof needs to be reset if (in the followings)
- Battery is discharged or disconnected or the related fuse has been replaced or disconnected.
- The one-touch sliding function of the sunroof does not normally operate.
1. The ignition switch must be in the ON position.
2. Close the sunroof completely.
3. Release the control lever.
4. Push the control lever forward until the sunroof tilts and slightly moves up.
Then, release lever.
5. Push the control lever forward until the sunroof is operated as follows: TILT
DOWN SLIDE OPEN SLIDE CLOSE
Then, release the control lever.
If the sunroof does not operate properly after resetting, have the system checked by a professional workshop. Kia recommends to visit an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
CAUTION
If the sunroof is not reset when the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or related fuse is blown, the sunroof may operate improperly.

If the driver removes the ignition key (smart key: turns off the engine) and opens the driver-side door when the sunroof is not fully closed, the warning chime will sound for a few seconds and a warning image will appear on the LCD display.
Close the sunroof securely when leaving your vehicle.
To open the sunroof, push the sunroof control lever upward until the sunroof moves to the desired position. To close the sunroof, push the sunroof lever forward until the sunroof moves to the desired position.
If the engine stalls at a crossroad or crossing If the engine stalls at a crossroad or crossing, set the shift lever in the N (Neutral) position and then push the vehicle to a safe place. If your vehicle has a manual transaxle not equipped with a ignition lock switch, the vehicle can move forward by shifting to the 2(Second) or 3(Third)
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry the lens cover from lamp housing. 2. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out. 3. Install a new bulb in the socket. 4. Align the lens cover tabs with the lamp housing notches and snap the lens into place.
