Kia Soul (SK3): Features of your vehicle / Remote keyless entry
Your vehicle may be equipped with an electronic engine immobilizer system to reduce the risk of unauthorized vehicle use. Your immobilizer system is comprised of a small transponder in the ignition key and electronic devices inside the vehicle.
Lock (1) All doors are locked if the lock button is pressed while all doors are closed. The hazard warning lights will blink once to indicate that all doors are locked.

1. Park on a level surface and apply the parking brake firmly. 2. Move the shift lever into R (Reverse) with Manual Transmission or P (Park) with Automatic Transmission/ Dual Clutch Transmission/ Intelligent Variable Transmission. 3. Activate the hazard warning flasher.

Filter inspection If the vehicle is operated in the severely air-polluted cities or on dusty rough roads for a long period, it should be inspected more frequently and replaced earlier. When you, the owner, replace the climate control air filter, replace it performing the following procedure, and be careful to avoid damaging other components.
