Kia Soul (SK3): Features of your vehicle / Remote keyless entry
Your vehicle may be equipped with an electronic engine immobilizer system to reduce the risk of unauthorized vehicle use. Your immobilizer system is comprised of a small transponder in the ignition key and electronic devices inside the vehicle.
Lock (1) All doors are locked if the lock button is pressed while all doors are closed. The hazard warning lights will blink once to indicate that all doors are locked.

1. Open the tailgate. 2. Loosen the lamp assembly retaining screws with a screwdriver. 3. Remove the rear combination lamp assembly from the body of the vehicle. 4. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket counterclockwise until the tabs on the socket align with the slots on the assembly.

WARNING Prior to working on the Interior lamps, ensure that the “OFF” button is depressed to avoid burning your fingers or receiving an electric shock. 1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry the lens cover from lamp housing. 2. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
