Your vehicle may be equipped with an electronic engine immobilizer system to reduce the risk of unauthorized vehicle use. Your immobilizer system is comprised of a small transponder in the ignition key and electronic devices inside the vehicle.
Lock (1) All doors are locked if the lock button is pressed while all doors are closed. The hazard warning lights will blink once to indicate that all doors are locked.
Your vehicle has a maintenance-free, calcium-based battery. If the battery becomes discharged in a short time (because, for example, the headlights or interior lights were left on while the vehicle was not in use), recharge it by slow charging (trickle) for 10 hours.
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently pry the lamp assembly from interior. 2. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out. 3. Install a new bulb in the socket. 4. Install the lamp assembly to interior. CAUTION Be careful not to dirty or damage the lens, lens tab, and plastic housings.
