Inside the fuse/relay panel covers, you can find the fuse/relay label describing fuse/relay name and capacity. NOTICE Not all fuse panel descriptions in this manual may be applicable to your vehicle.
Please prepare bulbs with appropriate standards in case of emergencies (Refer to “Bulb wattage” on page 9-07 for further information). When changing bulbs and sorts, first turn off the engine at a safe place, firmly apply the side brake and take out the battery's negative (-) terminal.
If towing is necessary, we recommend you to have it done by an authorized Kia dealer or a commercial tow truck service. If towing service is not available in an emergency, your vehicle may be temporarily towed using a cable or chain secured to the emergency towing hook under the front (or rear) of the vehicle.
Your vehicle has a maintenance-free, calcium-based battery. If the battery becomes discharged in a short time (because, for example, the headlights or interior lights were left on while the vehicle was not in use), recharge it by slow charging (trickle) for 10 hours.
